I think this is what happens when you want to do a costume but:

*don't want to look like the other 95769562125 people doing it
*decide to dress up something that is otherwise plain
*want to challenge yourself because the costume is too damn easy.

It was crazy times when everyone was doing everything Amano. It was impressive in a way and for once insured that you didn't see 8 of the same outfit done the same way. On the other hand some of them looked less cohesive and it looked like a craft pile of glitter and foam threw up on a leotard.
