Its just there are SO many different ways to show someone your interests and personality than printing your skin
Tattoos are terribly ugly and also prevent you from doing so many things as well, including careers, modeling, and even simple stuff like having a good cosplay.

I know certain osens and swim areas in Japan wont let you in or at least they will just be disgusted with you if you enter.
