"ita" refers to a chronic misunderstanding of what separates actual lolita fashion from crappy Halloween costumes, the shit you see in anime, and the crap you find in your grandmother's hope chest. Being fat and trying to compensate for it by wearing cheap, ill-fitting, and/or ugly shit constitutes ita. Simply being fat does not.
