This will be my first con and I'm still unsure about the whole "anime convention" thing. I don't really LIKE anime (grew up watching your popular animes shown after school i.e. DBZ, Gundam Wing, etc) but my gf is a huge fan and got me interested in Attack on Titan. What can I expect at A-kon in particular? Is it going to be a total nerd fest? Will people be cool with me not knowing a damn thing about anime or will everyone be elitist/deserving to be sonic boom'ed to the face?
