I see, well I'm glad you've found a way to cope and are looking out for your health... I think some subtle editing is best, too, or otherwise your face just ends up looking foggy with all the airbrushing. I use Meitu, and BeautyPlus and Snow for the fun effects.

Thank you so much for summarizing anon, I like it even more now. This is the way I interpret it too, taking selfies with so much thought behind them isn't as much a self-portrait as it is conceptual photography meant to portray an aesthetic (wow, this sounded pretentious, sorry).

Also, does anyone know what app gives you the pale/faded effect except for the red tones? Like in Kuua's pics? I've seen other girls use it too but idk what app/filter is it. (Maybe they just edit the saturation the same way...)
