my local con is bringing cinderella girls cosplayers to perform and be “idols” at the con. As a massive idolm@ster fan, I’m excited, but on the other side, not all of these people shout confidence to me so I worry a bit? I also don’t regocnize half of the cosplays, most of the wigs really don’t look like the characters which seems kinda meh for an official group. Not gonna fully judge them till I see what they actually do, and if they’re gonna act as the characters as well.

What are you guys’ thoughts on cosplay cover groups as idols for a convention? They’re doing a meet and greet as well
