Completely dif anon but I do use them and I no longer get black heads on my nose. Basically what I did was take a hot shower, wash my face in said shower right along with whatever else you do (I tend to do hair, body, face depending on what kind of conditioner I might be using). Then after I towel dry, use the pore strip and after removing I use benzyol peroxide 2.5% all over my face and then moisturize.

I don't have particularly sensitive skin so keep that in mind. If you want something less harsh then benzyol, use salicylic acid instead, but be sure to pick one or the other (and check which is in your face wash) and always moisturize after. I will be honest, the pores in my nose still clog, I just haven't had a black head since doing this (and I only did it the one time about a year ago I think?)

There is also this which ebay rec'd to me (probably because I made a bid on some Skinfood samples- I lost) which is supposed to remove blackheads, but I've never used it.

I use generic CVS brand makeup remover because it has the same active ingredients as the Neutrogina one and was cheaper. It has 2 parts that need to be combined by shaking and has a slightly greasy feel but since you wash your face after anyway, that shouldn't matter too much. I haven't found it irritating (but again, I don't have uber senstive skin.)

Or you can use olive oil.
