Spotted this on the BAM twitter just now. The "we only give passes to returning panelists" thing is utter bullshit on behalf of AM's page. I have a friend of mine who has hosted multiple panels/events (at least 3, and in 2017, they hosted 5) for every AM since 2013/14, and they haven't been compensated in any capacity at any of them, not even a discount.

John absolutely picks favorites, regardless of how shitty, amazing, poorly-attended, or well-attended the panels end up being.
