I think she might just be too tall and maybe just a touch too busty for it. The original print doesn't align the bodice print either, but you can also see the bust points are parallel to the second pearl down, and the dress is actually low-waisted enough that the dress waist almost hits the hips on the mannequin.

On the girl her bust is somewhere after the third or fourth pearl, which means she's squishing her boobs into the part of the dress that's getting narrower, not the part that's cut for boobs. And the "low waist" doesn't really look like it's even past her waist, but the bodice would certainly have been nipped in for the waist and out again for the hips, while her body isn't curving that way. I think that's what makes the dress look weird on her, all the bust and waist points are in all the wrong places.

I wonder how IW does it so that tall girls can still wear their long dresses? I know some anon mentioned that their long lengths often have an extra inch in the torso, but do they move the bust and waist down as well?
