dumb shit like this is THE biggest reason why the 2A and universal armament is needed. everybody, yes everybody should learn to be carrying and how to use a gun properly. you're not a true texan if you're a hoplophobe. if parents are willing to rush in unarmed to get their kids as a threat is killing them while the only one's with body armor and full auto assault rifles just sat around, waited, and act tough, there is zero reason whatsoever to let police have monopoly on any weapons when they have no will to use them and nopes the fuck out when the going actually gets tough. period. if cops WON'T act in such a situation, then its up to the other people to do the job.
