Only the best for you.

>What changes are you all hoping to make?
Lose more weight. Get back into tournament shape. Try and get back into a state museum rather than private. Get more of my guy friends into macaroni. If I get some kind of financial windfall, get back into riding regularly.

Fun fact: The Irish are the only people we're allowed to be racist about while in character at my museum.

As >>9740981 says, I am typically either in 15thC armour for the armoured fencing, or 17th/18thC clothing for rapier/dagger/smallsword. Anyone can look dashing/kawaii in good clothes

Good for you! Piano is a lovely instrument, and very versatile.

>Learning to play instruments fills a bit of the emptiness in my life
Why do you say that?

>>Try more teas instead of religiously sticking to gunpowder green and rooibos
If you like smokey teas, I highly suggest a nice Lapsang Schauchang. I am also personally partial to a floral mix of a strong Black (usually Assam) with jasmine, saffron and a dash of rosewater.

>I want to pick up ballet, but my dad (a 2nd dan black belt) can teach me taekwondo for free so I'm doing that. The muscle control needed to perform well in taekwondo will train me to be graceful, right? (I hope.)

It really depends. Ask him how he would describe the taekwondo he teaches to someone who practices Mu-Duk-Kwon.

>1600's to 1700's
> Colonial Sabre
>Le Manhunt

I also work in 17th and 18thC living history museums teaching military history and fencing, and have done so for years.

What the hell is "le Manhunt"? What the hell is a "Colonial Sabre"? I have never once heard of these terms. What museum?

> recently started my own business teaching swordsmanship
>I need to make 40 foam/European LARP grade (I just assume that's a high quality thing) late sabres (so more straight than curved but with hand protection).

Pic is what I teach with for smallsword: Heavy epee on the left, river cane trainer with padded leather tip on the right.
>Please teach me how to foam smith
> HEMA

Why would you use foam simulators? They would act nothing like an actual sabre, and for safety, cost and practical application, a fencing mask and sabre would serve you better. Why wouldn't students coming to a HEMA class have their own? What are your qualifications?

I need more information because it sounds like you have no idea what you're doing or talking about.
