To me, sweet lolita will always be like pic related (or typical old school sweet). Current sweet is so costumey. I can tolerate some old OTT at meets and cons but even then i just don't like it, to me lolita is supposed to be cute AND elegant.

Current lolita sucks ass. I don't like anything any of the brands put out,the current trends are just bleh (i hate larme and menhera),...
I'm glad I get to see the things I used to want years ago going for so cheap and I can spend my money on that instead so i'm pretty happy still! I just don't like how lolita looks nowadays compared to like 2012 and before
