All the time. It took me a year of walking alone until I learned that there was another lolita in my city to begin with. I travel half the country for meets (which is like 2-3 hours with public travel, small country). I used to life on a farm, felt like momoko. beside one guy from the bigger cities thinking it was some sort of old-fashioned costume (like Amish-clothes, like serious clothes but no one wears them normally beside a small group in the countryside), but otherwise, only positivity. Being confident (or faking it) is the best way to get no reactions. Photo is actual costume from the area I lived, still not sure how my coord looks like that, but I guess he had never seen this.
