Oh boy do I have a good example of terrible cosplay.

>Be 17
>First really complicated cosplay
>Ask my mom for help since she's always been a big fan of my hobby, even took me to my first con when I was 3.
>Mom gets super enthusiastic.
>I love her to death so just nod and go along with her ideas.
>"OH ANON LOOK A COCONUT BRA! JUST PAINT IT AND IT WILL WORK! :3"
>O-ok I love you mom this will be awesome!
>"OH ANON WHAT ABOUT THESE DOOR KNOBS FOR YOUR HEADPIECE?! :3"
>O-oh that's an awesome idea!
>"Anon we don't need to hem those sleeves, no one will notice! :3"
>"Hmmm it doesn't seem to fit right.. LET'S USE DUCK TAPE~"

You know despite it being my absolute worst costume ever made and cringing silently all day in it.. It was worth it to have so much fun with her and see her so involved.
