/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

Sorry if this question doesn't make sense, but I'm getting my first clear acrylic charms made and I put a colored border around the design (like the teal in the picture) because I thought it would make the design pop a bit more. But I just looked at all the acrylic charms I own and none have any sort of border like that. Is that because it's a bad idea? Should I not do it? (The outline in the example is probably a little thicker than mine actually would be.)
