I usually notice the mask being either too big or too small; I have not seen a perfectly sized mask yet (am I just really picky? Idk). I get that it has a weird shape and all, but people seem to build it just big enough where it looks awkward or too small to where it looks unfinished, if that makes sense.
The masks I see never look like they have depth either. Just flat white and red.

I don't usually see much effort put into what armor Jugg has, either. Like, it's just not there or doesn't look believable. It goes back to the depth thing. Why not whether it a bit? Why not add shading?
I may just be really nitpicky, but those are my thoughts anyway.

Pic related's Jugg is nice though I think the mask could use a bit more attention.

Me and my friends want to do a group cosplay for an upcoming con, but none of us have cosplayed before and don't know where to start. Does any one have any tips of the trade for beginners, or a baby's first cosplay guide?
