Well I'm gonna post again in hopes that someone who knows about ethnic hair is lurking...

Okay so I am black/spanish mixed, I get my hair relaxed like once every 6 months

4/5 years ago I tried to give myself a shitty scenekid haircut (yea, I know, I was a stupid kid, etc) and cut my hair really short up at the top/back. As a result, I've got this short chunk of hair up there that doesn't want to grow. It's only grown maybe an inch or so in five years. The rest of my hair is shoulder length

It's really frustrating and I'm not sure what to do, I've been thinking of just cutting off all my hair and wearing wigs or something until it grows out, but I'm scared that it won't grow back because of how this one patch of hair has behaved

what should I do :<

By the time I get out there I'll have missed the con by like a week
