For me, I would place myself at a solid 8. Even though my wardrobe is on the smaller side (<25 main pieces) and we still aren't able to hold proper meet-ups, I wear lolita casually every other day/multiple times a week. I feel more like myself and strangely motivated and creative whenever I wear it. Lolita might be not the #1 most important thing in my life right now but it would certainly be less bearable without it, like something would definitely be missing.

Probably pic related but if not. A good chunk of our well dressed lolita's were at DMC this weekend. I will be honest I saw a lot of ita's at Abunai on friday and sunday, but none of them are part of the comm. I tried speaking to a brand ita, hoping she'd just look that way because of the heat, but she knew next to nothing about lolita to my suprise. Saturday I saw some really well dressed girls, that I all know participate in the Dutch comm, coincidently they all modeled for the fashion show.
In the end I don't think conventions are the to go to place for lolita's and there are also a lot of young ita girl who don't know the next thing about the fashion, so judging from a con crowd is not the best idea.
