/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

I am a complete and utter moron when it comes to cosplay and have never done it before. Yet, for some reason, I want to really cosplay Mettaton.
My face has potential for the make up, though I have no clue how to apply it or what to use. Outfit wise I have no idea where to start. My big thing is my waist. I'm not fat or overweight, but I do have lovehandles and have been slimming them up for a while though I have been recommended to get a male corset even still just to get the MTT proportions right. Any recommendations for all of these? My goal is something at least similar to the pic related.
