Heartwarming story time:

"It’s remarkable enough when someone prevents an injury to a Guest. And it’s beyond astonishing to save a life.

But there’s really no category for what happened at Cinderella’s Royal Table a few months ago.

When panicked parents called for help, Princess Aurora was nearby and quickly and quietly moved to aid a 3-year-old girl who was choking and having difficulty breathing. As Aurora prepared to do the Heimlich maneuver, she whispered to the girl that she was going to give her a little hug. Out popped the obstruction; the youngster began breathing again and the frightened parents began thanking the princess.

True to her character, Aurora calmed the rescued child and her relieved family, and she did it all in an understated way that produced hardly a ripple of concern among other Guests in the dining hall.
Although there may not be a label for those actions, there is an award: the Disney Heroes Award.

And Danelle Kurzer, a friend of Aurora, accepted the prestigious honor on behalf of the heroic princess at an informal ceremony Nov. 2.

The event, which included the presentation of a plaque signed by President and CEO Robert Iger and a gold Disney Heroes pin, was held in front of about 200 cheering Cast Members at the Parade Production Center at Magic Kingdom Park."
