Do it in the japanese shop yourself, I'm pretty sure they give you a small discount for reserving and using an ss adds dumb fees. Although I havent done it myself, this seems to be other peoples experiences.

Upon doing much research I decided to bite the bullet and become a SB on SA. This lead me to wonder:
Are there any other SB seagulls?
Overall experiences?
Any advice you'd give a newcomer?

Sometimes I go to Craiglist hoping to build up the courage to find a sugar daddy.
However I'm too much of a coward to reply to any post.

Does it count if it's not really appearance-related?
I'm quite an average lolita. Nothing special. I think I could be really gorgeous if I spent more time and money on it, but I can't really be bothered. At meets I get a little envious of the really amazing girls there, though.
Until they start talking about their life, their relationships, their future. All of the most popular girls in my comm pretty much have no life outside fashion, are relatively uneducated (If they continued schooling past high school, they're studying to be a fashion designer. No exceptions.) and don't tend to be too intelligent. They have no plans for the future beyond figuring out what to wear at the next meetup. Most of them are being supported by their parents or their boyfriend. When I try to imagine where these girls will be in ten or twenty years, I just can't see it. There's nothing there.
So then I suddenly feel a lot better about my meager wardrobe and wig styling skills. In ten years I might still be unimpressive at lolita, but at least I'll have a well-paid, fulfilling job so I don't have to be financially dependent on anyone else.

Not that anon but I wouldn't pay $40 for a bodyline blouse either. In fact since blouses are not lolita-exclusive like skirts and dresses are, I usually don't pay more than $20 for a nice ruffly lacey blouse off of ebay or the comm sales. I'll drop a couple hundred on a nice lolita BURANDO piece but not on shit that I can buy offbrand like socks and blouses.

How much do you guys think these JSKs will sell for on the sales comm now? What would do you think people will be willing to pay/trade for it?

What is it about the Lolita community that attracts the crazies? I went to my second meetup. We had a woman crossdressing and getting angry if they identified as female. Two strippers in lolita looking for a weed hookup, a brolita that was giving makeup tips, a queen bee that was giving backhanded compliments to everyones outfits and accesories, a girl that could no longer fit into her baby the stars shine bright because of her E cup implants, and a girl who would probably make money as a dominatrix since she was grabbing at everyone and making suggestive comments the whole time.

Maybe I should just not go to the nighttime meets when alcohol is supplied. -_-;;;
