that friend who just can't make a simple costume ever because she only likes to make and wear 'complicated' things way out of her skill level. every year she just barely finishes and only with a LOT help of all her friends only to say 'SEE I TOLD YOU I COULD DO IT' .

yeah you did it, but only after someone else did the patterning for you because you couldn't figure it out, and we all sat around in the hotel room handsewing pieces for you so you could actually see the light of the con.

then she goes off with all these photographers and struts around like she is big shit, feeling superior that her costume is a glitter and lace monster in comparison to the rest of us who made sane choices for our time and banks.

I told her after this year I wouldn't be helping her again, but all of our friends get so bitchy if I refuse because I'm the most experience and think its 'petty'. pic related of her 'easy' costume she is planning for next year. she doesn't even know how to do her own makeup, I do it every con and she's never done armor before. or prosthetics. or worked with stretch.
