A couple confessions, since I love ranting.
I really can't bring myself to buy bags or jewelry unless it's on a whim. Despite how much my wardrobe has grown, I'm so limited because I just hate searching through necklaces and bracelets and wristcuffs. Also hate buying shoes, I find it super hard to find a pair I vibe with so I end up staring endlessly. I specifically try to buy super plain versatile pieces so that i don't have to buy many of those items. Does anyone else have items they need, but hate buying?

second, I feel like no one knows how to give concrit. There's nothing that pains me more than seeing people wearing a casual coordinate and the advice is that they should do something more ott like add more bows or something. Seeing people complain that a daily lolita outfit is too plain or boring pains me. Which ties into my next point-

a lot of people don't understand colour balancing and how to flatter themselves and I can see it in the ridiculous concrit i see. I hate how people complain about asspats but then turn around, call someone fat and ugly, and think thats somehow better. both are bad. You have to tell someone what they're doing well and what they are doing wrong, even if you don't really like their coordinate. The final, biggest problem is that too many lolitas confuse personal opinion with legitimate advice. Not liking someones socks doesn't make the socks bad, and liking someones holo sandals doesn't make those holo sandals good. I have guilty pleasures too, but ultimately they are my pleasures and if they don't work well with a coordinate I have to be honest and tell the person. Just because you like a coordinate more doesn't mean it's objectively better.
