Ironically, I only cosplayed once, but I started hanging out on cgl for tips and tricks. At the time the taobao thread was also there so I got into shitty TB fashion. Some anons were talking about pic related, which I saw and my shitty cosplayer heart fell in love. I eventually was able to get it and ever since then have been sort of obsessed with it.

Ironically though, I'm almost 100% classic grandma florals and solids these days, but I still have the dress as well as the blue version now.
