I'm having trouble making this skirt look balanced with pink white and black accessories. I always seem to end up with too much of one color in one place and looking unbalanced. Any ideas or pics for inspiration?

Would it work to have a star bag with a sweet outfit if the colors match even if the dress doesn't have stars? I have ap's country of sweets skirt and I'm not sure if I should wear my light pink star bag with it.
