The thing that is great about this is that she didn't try to change the shape of the kimono top. She just left it about as traditional as it can be with no crazy frilly embellishments and paired it with a nice simple bottom making the kimono the star of the outfit. It also gives me very shrine maiden vibe.

These types of dresses, these bodyline disasters are never in a print that you'd see on a kimono. Everyone wa-lolita attempt thinks they need to be grossly decorated with ruffles, crazy prints, hideously large bows..
