What about Chihiro who dressed as a woman to avoid being bullied because they were small, sickly and and thought of as "unmanly"? I felt like their character brought up some interesting things about living up to masculine ideals and the pressure of gender roles and how hard they can be for people to live up to. (Sorry, I probably worded this badly.)

But no, instead everyone continuously circle jerk argues about them being trans or not.
