I'd say get brushes, even if they're from the drugstore. Sponges are such a waste of product if you're using them to apply your foundation. I know some people use their hands to put foundation or eye shadow on too. Your hands are so dirty, please just buy a brush!

I've never use a beauty blender, so I can't give my opinion on those. I've heard they're good, though.
