>Do you actually wear casual lolita? How do you coord it?
A lot of my outfits are basic coords that belong in >>9431914, but I'm starting to get into casual as well. Cutsews/sweaters/hoodies and skirts or simple OPs, natural hair, less make-up, no novelty bags. If I'm wearing a JSK and cardigan I'd consider it toned-down but not casual.

I wish it was, but I can see why it isn't. I post to CoF pretty regularly and whenever I post a casual coord it gets a fraction of the likes my others do, even when the photography and lighting is good. A lot of my casual outfits don't even make 100 likes, when my standard coords get 300-400 and basic usually gets 120-270.
>What do you think of wearing sneakers or sandals?
I am part of the minority that actually really likes sandals, but I think bare feet look pretty disgusting. The West can't seem to get over the idea that socks and sandals looks bad so I don't think they'll ever take off here. Kind of a pity since plastic shoes make your feet so sweaty and brand sandals with ankle socks are kawaii as fuck in summer. Sneakers can be okay a tiny percentage of the time, but most sneakers don't work (it's usually best when there's some fairy kei/deco/punk crossover in the coord).
>What do you think of going without petticoat?
It really depends on the dress. There are oldschool pieces that look totally fine without one, but modern lolita cuts don't look lolita without a petti even on the rare occasions they don't look bad without one. When I wear oldschool babydolls/whatever without a petticoat they still look 100% lolita, but even though I can wear some of my modern IW without one I think it ends up not looking like lolita any more. I don't think recent miniskirts and salopettes that can't fit a petti (pic related) are really lolita either, but I like them a lot and think they should be allowed on CoF (they're more closely related than ouji and aristo are IMO).
