Yeah, I think she didn't think it was a recognized disorder because they removed it from the dsm-5 and renamed it a part of the autism spectrum. I'm about 26 and I feel like I'm just getting closer to concealing my awkwardness.

It's harder now in a different way because I've been in the military for 4 years and civilians don't act like military people(the military has an fucked up social hierarchy.)

It's ok. I'm really embarrassed about talking about it to people irl and I kind of braced for flack.

I did the assq and got a 35 out of 42.

I mostly learn social queues by mimicking normal people. I don't exactly understand what I am doing but I know the outcome will be consistant. I can't read faces or understand people trying to give me hints.

What is other good meetup etiquette? What is a good way to introduce yourself? Is it ok to open a conversation by complimenting an accessory or dress or is that creepy?
