I think have the same hair style as you! I have mid back length hair and side locks to go with my bangs. Here are some styles I do:

>Headbands!
I love how they look separating my straight bangs and locks from my curliness. Sometimes I like to fluff up my hair all big like a lion, sometimes I like to use a lot of conditioner and styling cream to make my curls more defined. When being fluffy, I feel like my bangs + headband kind of anchor it down and make the frizziness look intentional and fun.

One benefit of curls is our volume. I love to pull my hair up and then tease it a little bit (or a lot a bit). Sometimes I stick a bow, headband, or something at the base.
