My current hair below, just took photo in crap library lighting with webcam, it's a bit brighter in person.

Did purple and first 2 bleachings at home. I have super tough and thick hair, when I use regular dye I have to leave on twice as long and use twice as much dye. Hence I used vol 40 bleach (on a super greasy scalp, like didn't wash for a week and a half) for two consecutive bleachings and purple dye all in the same day. Wouldn't recommend this for anybody else, the only reason my hair isn't fried and falling out is because I have genetically coarse hair.

The purple eventually washed and faded, leaving me with dirty blonde and purple understreaks, went to a salon and got another bleaching plus roots. This time with vol 30. I highly recommend this for anybody wishing to dye their hair, go get a professional bleaching and you can do the color at home. Regular salons usually have no idea about fantasy colors or harajuku type gradient dyeing. The bleaching was excellent and super even, sadly they fucked up the coloring and used all of my colored dye. Wanted to go for an ash/pink combo, like Sheryl from Macross but darker, now I'm stuck with this desaturated rainbow.

At least they were dumb and didn't heat set it (not dye btw, it was a colored hair manicure) so the colors will wash out soon and I can do it myself properly. My hair's not fried at all, a little stretchy and some breakage on the ends, but nothing exceptionally bad like Penus. Also helps that I don't wash more than twice a week, and avidly deep condition once a week. Considering getting my hands on some coconut oil and trying that out.
