This annoys me a lot and it's impossible to disagree without being dogpiled. I fit unshirred Moitie, VM, etc. and I have a dramatic hourglass shape. I also know overweight people who have proportions that resemble a toddler more than an adult. Having excess fat doesn't make you more of an adult or a more womanly woman, it just makes you fat. Insulting people who are smaller than you won't make you fit brand any better, either.

Also fuck that person who equated the statement that obesity is unhealthy to racism and sexism. Fuck them for equating scientific fact to hate speech and oppression. Fuck them.

I don't understand how these people look at something as luxurious and self-indulgent as lolita fashion, which is inspired by upperclass clothing from eras where economic and class inequality was even worse than it is now, and see something that needs to be accessible to everyone as if it's some fundamental human right. Pic related. If someone's eating healthy and losing weight that's great, but it still doesn't mean that niche Japanese fashion brands owe it to them to make clothes in their size. If you can't possibly be happy without wearing lolita you have bigger issues than just your weight.
