I was wondering if anyone had tips on makeup for crossplay (pic related).

I've looked up tutorials on YouTube and dA, and they all seem very heavy on the eye makeup with excessive eyeliner, fake lashes, etc. I understand that contouring is a must, and attention needs to be given to the eyes for them to look nice in photographs, but what would you say is the bare minimum eye makeup one should have for a good crossplay?
