I want to do Krusty the Clown for this Halloween but I have no idea how to do his hair. I've always tried to avoid characters that have crazy hair or use wigs, mainly cause I'm pretty casual and a huge slob so anything that requires actual maintanince is ususally a no go, but I also want to be a bit more adventurouse in cosplay instead of just sticking to more simple stuff. How exactly would you go about doing his hair? My current idea is to get a white hair band and some thick wire and then glue cotton balls to the general shape of his hair and then spray paint them. I did something similar in the past where I made a shitty afro with styrafoam but I remember it being very uncomfortable as well as not very stable.
