I'm looking to make some boot covers, but I'm having some issues figuring out how to get the font portion to stay down. I know most people use a little elastic strip to go under the shoe, but I'd imagine that would get filthy and probably frayed up and worn out by the end of a con. Is there some kind of rubber strip that I can attach to the boot cover to go under the shoe to make it safe to walk on outdoors? Pic related it's the tutorial I'm looking at.
