Switching means that the fabric "switches" from the bodice to the skirt. It can be a very small part on the bodice, as shown in pic related AP Holy Theater Switching JSK. It's often used to refer to border prints, because the fabric "switches" at the bottom. And also can refer to bibbed jsk/OPs, where that fabric is different than the rest.

Hi gulls! I have pic related and I'd love to make it a little more ott for ILD. I'm not too good at color balance yet, so I'd love for some suggestions on what color blouse, accessories, shoes etc. I'm in a bit of a budget right now, so I'm planning on making the new accessories. I'm thinking either a bonnet or a veil and maybe an overskirt? I have a pair of white and black shoes but I also have some gold enamel and thought about transforming a pair into gold. Thank you for any help!!
