I don't understand why people can't just stick to the comic version, especially with Mindfang, shes probably one of the ancestors who have better references for her outfit. And, not to mention, its sufficiently detailed. Idk why my feathers are ruffled over this.

So I have a question in case anyone else in hsg has attempted it: EL wire in their homestuck cosplays. Has anyone tried it? Is it really worth it to try when its in a lit convention hall and not outside in pitch black?

Mostly asking because 1) I always thought it'd be cool to do a Mindfang jacket where the blue outlines are done in wire so it glows in the dark,/dark photo shoot, and 2) CrockerTier Jane I really wanted to try to do and I thought for a moment slowly pulsing lighted wires under the clothes where the circuitry would be a pain in the ass to do, but cool.

Honestly I think the Mindfang one would turn out better but I was just mostly mulling over these ideas while looking over the wire and how it works.
