Agreed that heels don't seem a Jade thing (she was climbing all over LoFaF in that dress, albeit in the Squiddle sneakers), but I think shorter cosplayers wear heels for aesthetic's sake.

Picture kind of related. I wear flats (which you can't see, ooops) because I'm 5'10" and taller than a good number of the Homestuck cosplayers I meet.
