Long time no post cgl.

Yes this is not a wig review post, but I feel like adding something useful to all this ridiculous and incessant drama my community is fueling.

All wigs have a tendency to have a shine under flash, which explains the shininess in >>6283428
Now I've owned far too many wigs since getting into this fashion. Cyperous, Galbanara, MintyMix, Lockshop, GLW, Fantasy Sheep, Lucaille, Alpaca (taobao).
Cyperous is by far the best, and you pay for it.
Galbanara- there have been a few people who've said it and I agree with them- they are great for 1-2 wears and start getting ratty and fall apart. I've only ever gotten Prima-H, so this was hugely disappointing.
MintyMix- my absolute favorite. They keep their shape for a while after a few wears, they respond well to maintenance and can decently return to their original shape. Can throw these babies around and not worry about them getting tangled too much. I suspect it has to do with the fiber coating, as they (the fibers) have this softness, subtle shine to them.
Lockshop- been a while, bought a hime wig when they first started out. Decent quality, got a little ratty after 2 wears. Perhaps they have improved, been wanting to find out but shipping is too awful right now.
GLW- their wigs were decent once upon a time, have a few classical wigs that I love, but if anything is ratty right out of the bag, it's GLW wigs and it only gets worse with wear. They start losing fibers now very quickly.
Fantasy Sheep- hit or miss, small sizes, wig held up but the fibers looked fake despite natural color.
Lucaille- nice for quick, cheap, large head sized wigs but start losing fibers after a few wears.
Alpaca- very thin wig, thin fibers, got tangled VERY quickly.
