Oh yes, I know. Sorry I didn't make that clear. But they didn't show and people weren't bothering. So people were just doing it to show off that they did it.

That was the first time I remember people jumping on a design without knowing anything about the character. I only remember it vividly because I saw a lot of ME FIRST around two years later and was like, "Son of a bitch, I know exactly when this shit started."
It hasn't changed since then. The me first Elsas got on my last nerve as they tried to one up each other.

I tried to find the one photo of the Rikku and Yuna at Otakon 2000 or 2001. I remember it vividly too. It was a hallway shot with a Yuna with white sleeves on the left and a Rikku bent slightly over in green jean shorts with no ruffles yet and a plain orange tank top. The Rikku was a girl named Carolina.

Have this back up photo instead. I think the Rikku and Yuna are the same girls but years later.

Game still wouldn't be out for 16 mos or 4 mos depending on what year that was.
