Yeah, I'm a Houstonfag, and I caught the tail-end of DFW's run, but the friends I had at the time just told me, "Ugh, stay away from them."
I'm not sure what exactly went down either..

The Homestucks are fairly nice, but I'm not involved in that whatsoever aside from having friends who are into it.

I would try to get a spot in a panel, but my voice is quiet and no one here knows me all that well anyway.

I'm throwing my money at San Japan, so I didn't go to A-kon, no. I know some people who did though.
This will be my first SJ, so I'm hoping that community is better. As far as I know, I'll only cosplay Hetalia on Friday.

In Persona, it'd work.
But yeah, if you look up con pictures and keep finding the same person doing the same pose, it gets annoying.
