/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

I'm sure this is a really barebones new person question. But I've got literally 0 experience with Armour cosplay, I was wondering with the upper part of his body how it's layered over one another how I would go about well... starting that. I can't imagine it being stable but also as thing looking without using actual metal, as well as retaining enough strength to hold that entire cloak without prying itself loose. Sorry if this is a stupid question either way.
