I'm not really either. I think what makes me like these shorts is the fabric they're made of. (pic related, they're tiny rabbits.) and the buttons are cute enough to make me want to wear them tucked in. Plus they're shorter than they appear, since they're high waisted, so with the shrit untucked it just looks.... well you barely see the shorts. It's a case of cuteness of the clothes itself vs. how cute it looks on a person. To me the cuteness of the shorts overrides the fact that they're high-waisted. They also looked slightly less ridiculous before I started working out when my legs actually filled out the shorts when I'm standing up. Here's hoping that my legs build some muscle and go back to normal soon, because I'm way too scared to sew flimsy vintage fabric like this.

I can see tights working! Just... not on a hot day like this. I'd like to get tights in a pink that matches the bows on the rabbits a tad better though.
That's a good idea about the hair accessory too. I think a bow with a rabbit in the middle would be absolutely adorable!
