I knew the festival was fucked when they decided to do Abyss and Zesty pandering instead of cashing in on Tales of Destiny 2's 15th anniversary. Destiny always rakes in the dough in Japan but Bamco doesn't do anything with it except shove Leon into everything.

The pessimistic answer is mobile garbage is probably making them a lot of money so they don't care about making anything else. Link's death was obvious as soon as Rays started getting promoted. Not that that seems to be doing great since I'm pretty sure Asteria's numbers dwarf Rays'.

Mikleo is a really boring character, only slightly less bland than Sorey. Fujos have no taste.
