I was born in florida and didn't even know there were this many cons. I moved to long island a few years ago and there's like nothing beyond NYCC. There's usually one con that was cancelled this year because they didn't have money, but there's a new one just like, 10 days away.

Why do people find it okay and acceptable to be fat?
Why do people find it totally normal to bitch and whine about haters calling them fat when they can take the time to get rid of their fat.
Why do we live in a society where being fat is considered an unchangeable, undeniable fact that plagues life and just has to stick with you for the rest of your life?
Why do people think taking horrible care of their body is acceptable?
Why is it that people don't understand that here in America, healthcare is so expensive because of all the people who take shit care of their bodies.
Why is it that the general populace feels bad for fat people and doesn't scorn them or pelt them with rocks upon sight?
Why do fatties think it's okay to cosplay as characters that are no where near their body weight?
Why?
