And I had a massive obsession with anime in middle school, like most of the people here, but it bled into my work. Whenever I was asked to make my own stories in class, I would use the most anime names like 'Takeharu Nonoharu' and 'Spark Yoshiro'. I would put anime inspired plot, honorifics and dialogue up the ass and always sent it in to my writing teacher. He usually gives me a good grade grade and comments that he had a good laugh. I never realized that he was laughing because of how cringe it was, though.
