I thought the same, until one summer I got sick with something that left my stomach sore and made me nauseous if anything pressed on it. Really surprised to learn that the comfiest thing in my wardrobe was the Cosmic muumuu that I'd bought on impulse. I still had to run errands despite being sick, and found the muumuu, paired with lightweight shorts, was just so incredibly comfy while being cute for running around town in.

I think sleep dresses is pretty much it -- they're comfy while being cute, that's about it.
