Clunky usually refers to a shoe have more volume to it. I think you're using the word wrong? Chunky as well.

Sure it is more dainty with a heel. Granted it's not a wedge heel.

I'm not a huge fan of tea party shoes and I'm not trying to defend them, I'm just letting you know you are not making a ton of sense.
