/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

I've been wanting to cosplay mgs2 raiden for a while but i'm not really sure where to start. This isn't babbys first cosplay or anything, ive worked with stretch fabric and done some very basic armor so it might be hard but i'm not going into this totally blind. I was wondering if people have any fabric recs, I was thinking about using a scuba knit but im not sure. I'm also not sure what to do about the weird rib cage thing on his chest or his shoes. any other general tips would be great
